Get the candy bowls ready. Trick-or- treaters are about to take to area streets and neighborhoods.
So, when do the children begin the hunt for their favorite sweet treats? Here’s the answer. The following locales will hold trick-or-treating from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31: Bridgeton, Commercial Township, Deerfield Township, Downe Township, Fairfield Township, Franklin Township, Greenwich Township, Hopewell Township, Lawrence Township, Maurice River Township, Pittsgrove Township, Shiloh, Stow Creek Township and Upper Deerfield Township.
The city of Millville will host trick-or-treating form 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31. Residents are asked to turn on their porch lights if they are participating. Call 825-7010 for more information.
The city of Vineland will hold trick-or- treating from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26. Parents are asked to accompany their children if possible to ensure safety. Trick-or-treaters are asked to obey all safety rules and motorists are reminded to drive with extra care during these hours.
